Devices

Nizam's physical donation devices — the StandPro kiosk and the Handheld tablet — bring tap-to-pay giving to your masjid, events, and everywhere in between.

Nizam devices are physical tap-to-pay hardware that bring your online campaigns into the real world. Place a StandPro in your masjid lobby or hand a Handheld to a volunteer during a fundraising dinner. Donors walk up, choose an amount, tap their card, and they're done. No apps, no staff assistance, no friction.

Both devices accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, contactless cards, and chip cards. They connect directly to your Nizam dashboard, so donations flow into the same campaigns, funds, and reports as your online giving. Devices only display published campaigns — draft and archived campaigns won't appear.

StandPro#

A floor-standing donation kiosk with a 21.5" portrait touchscreen, built-in battery, and rolling base. The StandPro runs in kiosk mode and is designed for unattended, high-traffic locations like masjid lobbies and event halls.

Handheld#

A portable tap-to-pay tablet with a built-in card reader and optional LTE. The Handheld runs in multi-app mode and is designed to be carried by a volunteer or placed on a tabletop during events.

Donor Lookup#

Both devices automatically look up returning donors by their payment method, so they receive their receipt without needing to re-enter personal information. This makes repeat giving faster and frictionless — especially for regular donors at your masjid or recurring event attendees.

Getting Started#

1

Choose your device

The StandPro is a floor-standing kiosk for unattended, high-traffic locations. The Handheld is a portable tablet for volunteer-assisted giving at events.

2

Create a device template

Device templates control what your device displays and how checkout works. Point a template to a published campaign, choose a checkout mode, and set a maximum donation amount.

3

Organize with device groups

Device groups help you categorize devices by region, location, or purpose — purely for your own organization.

4

Set up and register

Assemble your device, connect it to your network, and register it with your dashboard. See StandPro Setup or Handheld Setup.

Device Lifecycle#

Every registered device has a status that reflects its current state:

  • Online — powered on, connected, and ready to accept donations
  • Offline — connection lost, detected automatically
  • Retired — manually retired by an admin; no longer accepts donations

Status changes between Online and Offline happen automatically. Retiring a device is a manual action from your dashboard.

Devices that have collected donations can't be removed, but they can be retired. Retiring preserves all donation history while marking the device as inactive. Devices that haven't collected any donations can be permanently removed.

Recurring plans on retired devices

Retiring a device stops it from accepting new donations, but existing recurring plans created through the device continue on their schedule.

Remote Management#

Every Nizam device is fully remotely managed. Configuration changes, software updates, diagnostics, and troubleshooting are all handled over the air — no physical access required. If a device needs attention, the Nizam team can resolve most issues without anyone needing to touch the hardware.

Your organization is never on its own with device management. The Nizam team is available to help with setup, configuration changes, and any issues that arise. Get in touch →
