Nizam Intelligence uses AI to personalize the checkout experience for each individual donor. Rather than showing every donor the same amounts and options, Intelligence analyzes context — including the donor's location, the time of year, the device they're using, and behavioral signals — to present the most effective giving experience.

How Intelligence Works#

Intelligence considers multiple signals to make real-time decisions about what each donor sees:

  • Location — adjusting suggestions based on where the donor is giving from
  • Time of year — recognizing periods of heightened generosity like Ramadan, Dhul Hijjah, and the last ten nights, and adjusting amounts and prompts accordingly
  • Day and time — adapting the experience for contextual moments like Jumu'ah, when donors may be giving before or after prayers
  • Behavioral signals — factoring in giving history, whether the donor has covered fees before, and their typical donation patterns

Intelligence improves over time as it learns from your organization's donor pool and past donation patterns. The more data it collects, the more accurate its personalization becomes.

Each Intelligence capability can be enabled independently per campaign, so you control exactly which aspects of personalization are active.

Personalized Amounts#

Instead of showing the same preset amounts to every donor, Intelligence dynamically adjusts the suggested donation values based on the individual. A first-time donor might see lower, more approachable amounts, while a returning donor with a history of larger gifts sees amounts that reflect their capacity. This personalization happens in real time as the checkout loads.

Smart fee coverage

Intelligence also powers the Smart mode for fee coverage, making a per-donor decision about how to present the option to cover processing fees. This typically achieves higher fee coverage rates while maintaining a positive donor experience.

Personalized Upsells#

Intelligence identifies donors who are likely to convert from one-time to recurring giving and presents a tailored prompt encouraging them to set up a recurring donation. The AI considers the donor's context to determine when an upsell is appropriate and how to frame it — so donors see a compelling suggestion rather than a generic ask.

Personalized Intervals#

Intelligence can suggest the most effective donation frequency for each donor. When enabled, the default frequency tab in the checkout becomes Adaptive — rather than always defaulting to "One-Time" or "Monthly," the AI chooses the frequency most likely to result in a donation based on the donor's context.
