Content & Media

The media, title, message, and branding that define how your campaign appears to donors — configured once and synced across your checkout modal, campaign page, and devices.

Campaign content is what donors see when they interact with your campaign — the image or video, the title, a message about your cause, and your organization's branding. This content is configured once in the campaign's Content & Media section and serves as the base content for the checkout modal. It also syncs to the campaign page and devices, where it can be overridden when needed.

Media Modes#

Every campaign chooses between landscape and portrait media mode. This choice determines the aspect ratio and layout of your campaign's visual content:

  • Landscape — a wide format suited for scenic images, group photos, and video. Enables a message field alongside the media.
  • Portrait — a tall format suited for compelling single-subject images. Enables title text color customization over the media.

Media mode and surface compatibility

Different surfaces support different orientations. The checkout modal supports both portrait and landscape. Campaign pages and the Handheld only support landscape. The StandPro only supports portrait (4:5). If your base media mode doesn't match what a surface supports, that surface won't automatically inherit the base media — you'll need to upload media directly for it.

Images and Video#

Upload an image directly, or embed a video from YouTube, Vimeo, or Twitch by pasting its URL. Video embeds play directly within the checkout modal and campaign page, giving donors a more immersive experience of your cause.

When both an image and a video are configured, the video takes priority. The image serves as a fallback only if the video can't be loaded or isn't configured correctly.

Title and Message#

The display title is the public-facing name of your campaign — what donors see on the checkout modal, campaign page, and devices. Choose something clear and compelling that communicates the purpose of your campaign at a glance.

The message is a short description or call to action that supports the title. It appears in landscape mode and supports merge tags for dynamic personalization. Available merge tags:

  • Campaign Title — the campaign's display title
  • Supporter Count — the total number of donors
  • Total Raised — the amount raised so far

These tags update dynamically so your messaging always reflects the campaign's current state.

Branding#

  • Theme color — the accent color used on your campaign's progress bar, buttons, and highlights. Defaults to your organization's brand color.
  • Logo — your organization's logo, pulled automatically from your organization branding settings. Toggle it on to display the logo on the checkout modal.

Device Media#

Each campaign can include dedicated media for the StandPro and Handheld devices. The StandPro displays media in portrait at 4:5, while the Handheld uses landscape at 16:9 — so uploading optimized assets for each ensures your campaigns look sharp on every screen.

If no device-specific media is uploaded, the device displays the device template's fallback title and message instead of campaign media. Learn more about device media →

Content Syncs Across Surfaces#

The content you configure here is the foundation for your checkout modal, campaign page, and devices. The campaign page can override the base content with richer media and longer descriptions suited to a standalone landing page. StandPro and Handheld devices can each override media with assets optimized for their screen orientation.

Only the fields you override are different on each surface — anything left blank falls back to the base content here.
